Lee Kum Kee Family Wins “Hong Kong Family Legacy Award”.

On 14 October, the Lee Kum Kee Family was conferred the “Hong Kong Family Legacy Award “by the Legacy Academy to recognise its efforts in thriving family business and demonstrating the best practice in family legacy.

Established in 2012, the Legacy Academy engages in a full spectrum of family succession and continuity planning services and provides professional advice and guidance to Chinese family enterprises with a mission to ensure the sustainability of their family legacies. The inaugural Legacy Award is a signature ceremony to present the most coveted individual and organisation awards for their distinctive contribution to society in family legacy.

The selection criteria for the Award entry are very stringent. Careful assessments are conducted to recognise individuals and organisations based on their best practices in 5 dimensions with 34 criteria on the management of wealth capital, enterprise capital, family capital, human capital, and knowledge capital, towards the noble cause of sustainable family businesses, succession planning, and family legacy. In its inaugural edition, 8 Individuals and organisations that have demonstrated best practices in family legacy are duly recognised.
