I joined Lee Kum Kee in 2017 as Sales Manager – Hubei Province, responsible for sales and management of the entire Hubei market.

When I first started my job, I was overwhelmed by many challenges like market pricing, team management and customer relationship management. Through communication and understanding the market and team, I considered it necessary to implement impartial discipline in the workplace. Leaders must lead by example, and be fair, just and open. I encouraged my teammates to let their personality shine and innovate. I worked towards boosting every team member’s sense of belonging. At the same time, I kept influencing my team by putting the company’s core value of “Si Li Ji Ren” into practice and worked closely with our distribution partners. I formed a decision-making committee with our key distributors at the core, so that we can discuss and deal with problems and issues concerning the shared interest of our distributors. All of us – staff and customers – are part of the big picture, in which we rely on one another to work out a situation that benefits every one of us. At the end, I not only succeeded in making up for declining sales within six months, but even managed to exceed the annual target set by the company.

In 2018, I was assigned Southern Central Region 1, which included Hubei and Hunan markets; the latter was a  national key market in terms of foundation and market size at the time. I was most grateful for Lee Kum Kee’s recognition of my hard work in the previous year and its trust in me. I had also benefitted much from the company’s staff appointment principle and talent development plan.

I never cooked in the past, but since joining Lee Kum Kee I have gradually turned into a culinary enthusiast. When I gather with my family and friends on the weekends, I often pick up some ingredients and experiment with Lee Kum Kee products. The bonds between us have become even stronger over the healthy and tasty food cooked by me. I hope I can continue to spend time with my loved ones, work hard and enjoy life!
