POSITION SUMMARY

Directs and coordinates activities of production function in processingmaterials or manufacturing products in industrial organization byperforming the following duties personally or through subordinatesupervisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Production Manager in supervising the operation of theProduction Function.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Warehouse, QC Department during dailyoperation.
  • Arrange the Processing Team, Filling Team, CIP Team, and Sanitation Teamproperly to fulfill the production schedule and sanitation requirement.
  • Ensure shift operation are up to company quality / safety standard andall related procedure / instruction / preset parameters are follow.
  • Provide training to the operators.
  • Review the daily production report.
  • Operate PLC as needed.
  • Meet KPI’s and specific goals given by department head.
  • Insure that GMP’s, HACCP and Safety standards are followed.
  • Insure proper employee’s time keeping process.
  • Be able to generate and read production reports.
  • Take over the responsibility of head of production department when he/sheis absent.
  • Other assignment from Head of Production Department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Monitor and arrange daily operation to fulfill production schedule andsanitation requirement ( GMP/SSOP/HACCP) 70%
  • Ensure proper operation in each shift 10%
  • Provide training to the operators 10%
  • Miscellaneous assignment in Production Department 10%

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises daily production operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technicalschool; or two years related experience in food manufacturing and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience. BA/BSpreferred. Computer literate with basic computer knowledge.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routinereports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups ofcustomers or employees of organization. Bilingual in English/Chinese orEnglish/Spanish is a must.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ideal candidate mustcompute rates, ratios, and percentages and draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to read and comprehendequipment manuals and electrical diagrams for set-up control loops.Candidate must be able to deal with problems involving several concretevariables in standardized situations.
