Lee Kum Kee Receives Food Innovation Award by the Hong Kong Food Council

Lee Kum Kee was conferred “Food Innovation Award” by the Hong Kong Food Council for its remarkable achievement in product innovation and marketing creativity across the Group.
Lee Kum Kee is one of the first companies to receive the “Food Innovation Award”. Mr. Kenneth Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Food Council (HKFC) said, “We are impressed with Lee Kum Kee’s core value of "considering others' interests” and “constant entrepreneurship” which have been embedded into every aspect of its business operation. In addition to its flagship oyster sauces and soy sauces, the Company actively involves in new product innovation over the years with creative marketing promotion to capture new customer segment. ”

The “Food Innovation Award” is first launched by HKFC in 2017 to recognise food company who has devoted substantial efforts in product innovativeness, brand awareness (Hong Kong, mainland China and worldwide), product distinctiveness, quality and corporate image. In 2016, HKFC bestowed its inaugural Outstanding Achievement Award upon Lee Kum Kee Group Chairman Mr. Lee Man Tat for his exceptional leadership, business acumen and dedication to product excellence in leading the Company to the next level; Lee Kum Kee was also named Classic Century Food Brand on the same occasion.
